Coronavirus Update

✅ Following the latest government announcement and the new tier system, we are pleased to reopen on the 2nd December and look forward to welcoming riders from Tier 1 or Tier 2 areas. Sadly Tier 3 residents will have to wait until the new year to visit us. ✅

First and foremost...

If you are in the vulnerable category or extremely worried with the current situation, the chances are that you will not have booked anything residential or in groups so likely this will not affect you. If you are concerned, we ask you to please not book anything with us until 2021 and we will look forward to welcoming you very soon.

We do not want to find ourselves in a position where we plan for X amount of riders and suddenly we have half the amount as the remaining half want to cancel.

By making a booking with us you are acknowledging that you will be attending and should you change your mind, you will forfeit your place.

If the guidelines change and we are forced into having to cancel, all deposits and bookings will be carried over to 2021 dates (or November camps if we have space and restrictions are lifted).

Once you have made your booking and accepted the above terms, you’ve got a space!

It is then paramount that on arrival you are confident you have not directly or indirectly been exposed to the virus. If you have been contacted by the track and trace system you must provide a negative test result. You should not attend if you show any symptoms.

On arrival at Banfield Equestrian for the foreseeable we will now be taking temperature checks from all visitors. Should you have a temperature, very sadly for everyone’s safety we will not be able to permit you onsite. Your booking will be held, credited and honoured in 2021. Although a temperature is not the only symptom, we feel a cautious approach is necessary.

We have placed hand sanitiser throughout the yard and house and urge you to use it as much as possible.

The training element of our camps in the arena will run as normal and falls under the training & sport exceptions of the government guidelines.

We have placed new outdoor seating around the arena - and as per our previous statement, each bench should only seat 2 people. It is your responsibility to socially distance around the yard as much as possible.

From the day of opening on the 4th July we had made the house as Covid safe as possible by spacing out the tables indoors, bringing in new outdoor seating, creating more indoor seating and encouraging as much airflow as possible.

Our indoor tables are set up in groups of 4 to eat with a restaurant style layout which is permitted and we are pleased to continue to offer food and operate as normal in the house whilst adhering to the new guidelines.

You are also more than welcome to take your food back to your lorries should you wish.

Should you have any queries please do get in touch; however we are confident we can meet government guidelines but still provide fun, social and educational residential stays - and we all definitely need some enjoyment in these strange times!

All riders attending will receive further details in their information pack sent out a week prior to camps.

Look forward to raising a glass soon.
